This is a confidential item to agree in principle to the potential purchase of a property by Portreeves or Corporation Almshouses, for whom the Committee act as the corporate trustee, the subsequent negotiation of a management agreement and the setting of an appropriate rent regime.

This report is required to be considered at the Area South Committee on 2nd November as the opportunity to purchase has only recently arisen and failure to respond to the vendor swiftly will result in the loss of a first refusal and the property instead being made available on the open market.
