Recruitment of Section 151 Officer (closed session) The Committee is asked to interview the candidates and decide whether to make an appointment. The CVs and supporting statements of the candidates will be circulated to the Committee members attending confidentially.
Minutes: The Appointments Committee considered the interview, testing and background information on the candidates selected for final interview for the post of Section 151 Officer
Following interviews with 4 candidates and having considered the results of all assessments, the Appointments Committee made their recommendation that Joanne Nacey, currently Deputy Section 151 Officer and Group Manager for Financial Services of Mid Devon Council, be appointed as the new permanent Section 151 Officer for South Somerset District Council.
RESOLVED: The Appointments Committee resolved to recommend to Council that Joanne Nacey be appointed to the post of Section 151 Officer for South Somerset District Council, subject to satisfactory references and agreement of remuneration package.
