Reason for urgency:
This is a confidential item to agree in principle to the potential purchase of a property by Portreeves or Corporation Almshouses, for whom the Committee act as the corporate trustee, the subsequent negotiation of a management agreement and the setting of an appropriate rent regime.

A similar request was agreed by the Area South Committee in November 2016, however, the opportunity to purchase that property previously identified has fallen through and therefore the Area South Committee need to reconsider the purchase of another property and act swiftly to secure it.
