Outside organisations and committees

The Health and Well-Being Board brings together the NHS, local authorities and communities, to give local people more opportunities to get involved and have a bigger say. This is a shadow Board of the Cabinet and not a decision making Committee of the County Council.

They board looks at people's health and social care needs together, as well as taking into account the bigger picture - things like transport, housing, jobs and leisure - so that services truly help people stay healthy and independent.
